Building upon her reputation as a successful arts leader, Elizabeth Brincklow founded Elizabeth Brincklow Arts, LLC in 2015 providing a portfolio of arts consulting services to artists, arts organizations, government, school districts, and businesses. Contracts have included Creative Pinellas, Pinellas County's designated Local Arts Agency and the City of Dunedin where her work recently achieved a Public Art Master Plan including a Public Art Ordinance for the care and funding of new artworks in the city. A new initiative for the agency is the PopUp/TrendOn partnership with Mary Childs Projects providing the logistical and aesthetic considerations involved in working with both corporate and private clients.
From 2009 to 2014, Elizabeth oversaw the Office of Cultural Affairs for the City of St. Petersburg firmly establishing the city as a #1 Arts Destination. Elizabeth also curated regional, national and international programming for Class Acts Education Performance Series and Community Arts Program at Duke Energy Center’s Mahaffey Theater.
Following performance work with Asolo State Theater (Sarasota, FL) and Living Stage/Arena Stage (Wash, DC), Elizabeth was associated with numerous New York City productions as a producer, writer, director, actor and/or dancer. In the Tampa Bay area, she designed and served as Producing Artistic Director of the Florida Playwrights Process (Ruth Eckerd Hall) in addition to many other theatre work credits with Stageworks, Tampa Rep, Dog and Pony Productions, American Stage, Altered Stages, Studio@620, among others.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Florida State University with a BA in Theater and Art History. Following post-graduate work at F.S.U., she continued movement and theater studies in Paris, France with Etienne Decroux and Ella Jarocewicz Marceau. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Inc., the Association of Performing Arts Professionals and Florida Public Art Network, among others, and currently serves as a Trustee of American Stage Theatre Company and a Board member of Blue Butterfly Productions. She has served as a judge for Sunscreen Film Festival among other theatre festivals and visual arts exhibitions.
